Precise Decarburization and Segmentation Analysis with MiViA
Conventional measurement of decarburisation depth is often based on simple optical imaging methods that are heavily dependent on the subjective judgement of the user. Even the smallest measurement deviations can lead to considerable differences in the results.
The innovative MiViA tool sets new standards here: it objectively determines the decarburisation depth based on the microstructure. Thanks to an extremely high density of measured values - each pixel point on the sample surface serves as the starting point for the depth measurement - the system delivers reliable and precise results.
In addition to decarburisation, we also support specific problems with our segmentation module. One example is determining the roundness of blasting media. However, this technology can also be transferred to many other applications - especially wherever specific areas in the image need to be recognised and measured.
